Commission
Briefing sitting — ninety minutes with the boards
A working conversation over verse, thumbnails, and weather. You leave with a named beat and a sense of whether it should be a splash or a sequence.
The sitting is where we throw out the obvious hammer-in-the-sky thumbnail. Most hours end with a quieter frame: Thor’s hands empty, the hall too large, rain already on the floor. If that sounds like the wrong kind of Thor for you, the sitting will make that clear before anyone buys gold leaf.
What this commission covers
Who it is for
Anyone who loves the saga but cannot yet point to the frame that should move.
The finished piece
A decision: splash panel, sequence, or not this beat. The fee is credited against a panel or sequence booked within 60 days.
How it is delivered
Written beat note and thumbnail photograph emailed the same day
Preparation
Bring a book, a photocopy, or nothing but a remembered line. Travel to Milton on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday late morning, or ask for video with the board on camera.
Limits we keep
This is not a drawing lesson and not a portfolio review of other artists. We will not spend the hour pricing marketplace flips.
