Refunds

This policy applies to briefing sittings and to commissions for animated Thor mythic saga panels, chapter sequences, and collector drop purchases placed with Stackpilot Grid. It does not cover goods we do not sell: we do not ship physical comic boxes as a shop, we do not run subscriptions, and we do not take payment through this website.

Who may ask

The person named on the estimate, or the payer of the deposit, may request a refund by emailing hello@stackpilotgrid.world with the commission title and the date of payment.

Briefing sittings

Cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice and the £180 sitting fee is refunded in full. Cancel later, or miss the sitting without notice, and the fee is kept because the board time was held. If you later book a panel or sequence within 60 days, an attended sitting is credited as described on the rates page; a missed sitting is not credited.

Deposits on panel and sequence work

The opening 40% deposit is refundable in full if you withdraw before we send the first pencil scan. Once pencils have been sent, the deposit is kept because drawing time has begun. If we have not sent pencils within 21 days of a locked brief (except where you delayed notes), you may withdraw and receive the deposit back in full.

Work already started

If you cancel after pencils but before inks are locked, we refund any stage payment you have made for work not yet begun, and we keep the deposit. If you cancel after inks are locked, the 40% ink stage is also kept. Colour and motion stage payments are only taken when that stage starts; unused stage money is refunded. Materials we have already bought for your job (gold leaf, board, specific inks) are deducted at cost if they cannot be used on another page.

Minted NFT comics

Once an NFT comic has been minted and transferred to the wallet on the estimate, that edition cannot be returned to us in any way that restores uniqueness. We do not refund minted and transferred editions. If minting fails on our side before transfer, you may wait for a new mint or receive a full refund of the final 20% and, if you also abandon the stills, a discussion of unused earlier stages.

Collector drops

Buying a numbered copy of a chapter already drawn is refundable only before we assign your number and initiate transfer. After assignment, the copy is yours; we will not re-sell that number.

Rescheduling

You may move a sitting once without charge if you give 48 hours’ notice. Panel calendars can shift by up to two weeks by agreement; longer delays from your side may require a new estimate.

Our cancellations

If illness or a refused copyright brief stops the job on our side, we refund every payment received for that job, including the deposit, within 14 days.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method where the bank allows it, otherwise by bank transfer to a UK account in the payer’s name. We aim to process approved refunds within 14 days of written agreement. We do not refund in cryptocurrency unless that was the original method named on the estimate.

Timeframe to ask

Ask within 14 days of the event you are relying on (a missed sitting, a failed mint, or a decision to stop). Later requests are considered only where we have clearly failed to deliver the estimate.
